Mattar Al Tayer has served as Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority since the authority's creation in 2005. He oversees the agency responsible for the city's roads, bridges, the Metro and tram networks, taxis, and public buses, and has become one of the most consistently quoted officials in Dubai's infrastructure coverage.
