Sharjah Summer Promotions 2026 will now run until Tuesday, 15 September. The Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) announced the extension with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). Shoppers and hotel guests have more time to use retail, dining, and family offers across the emirate.

The campaign began on 1 July. Organizers say the extra weeks keep indoor shopping, hotels, and family entertainment in play through mid-September, when outdoor plans are still hard work in the Gulf heat.

Nine malls are listed: City Centre Al Zahia, Oasis Mall, Mega Mall, Al Suyoh Mall, Sahara Centre, Sharjah Central Mall, Kalba Mall, Al Rahmania Mall, and 06 Mall. Hotels, restaurants, cafes, tour operators, and entertainment venues are also taking part.

What is on offer

The official launch materials put discounts at up to 75% on fashion, fragrances, accessories, electronics, and home goods. More than 55 public and private partners are listed, with more than 60 tourism packages. Family stops named in the programme include Al Noor Island, Pearls Kingdom Waterpark, Mleiha National Park, and the eastern-coast towns of Khorfakkan, Dibba Al Hisn, and Kalba.

Children's workshops and appearances by the campaign mascot Shamsa are scheduled at participating malls. Some venues are running Shamsa Mobile Store pop-ups. Offers and times vary, so check with the mall or hotel before you travel.

Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, chairman of SCTDA, said the extension is meant to keep Sharjah in play as a family destination through the summer by tying retail, hotels, and entertainment together. Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al-Awadi, director-general of SCCI, said the extra weeks are meant to support shopping centres and give businesses a longer trading window.

Prize draws and how to enter

The campaign lists more than 700 prizes, including 51 major prizes. The announced pool includes a car and 30 gold bars of 10 grams each, plus shopping vouchers and mall gifts. The organizers said five digital draws run in phases through the closing date.

The published draw calendar is Mega Mall on 18 July, Sahara Centre on 1 August, Sharjah Central Mall on 15 August, and Al Rahmania Mall on 29 August. The final draw is at 06 Mall on 15 September.

Shoppers can qualify through purchases at participating malls and stores. Hotel guests can enter through eligible stays booked under offers on the campaign website, shjsummer.ae, or through the campaign app. The launch materials also mention a smart app for draw entries and a running list of offers.

Rules differ between venues. Before you pay, confirm the minimum spend, valid dates, and how to register. Instant mall vouchers and extra gifts are separate from the main draws and sit with each centre.

Why the extra weeks matter

For Dubai residents, the practical change is the closing date. Offers and prize entries remain available until 15 September, subject to each venue's terms. Midweek trips are often quieter than weekend ones. If you are chasing a specific hotel rate or a draw entry, leave time to check the fine print rather than assuming every till in every mall is part of the same scheme.

The organizers present the programme as support for local retail and hospitality in the hottest months, when indoor attractions do most of the work. That is the useful read: more time, same malls, same closing-day draw at 06 Mall.
