Officials and government service and AI teams from ministries and federal entities attended.\n\n## From Searching To Completion\n\nCustomers typically search for a service and identify the responsible government entity. They then check the requirements, submit information and documents, and follow the transaction.\n\nUnder the proposed model, customers can describe what they need in a conversation. An AI assistant would interpret the request and determine the required steps.\n\nIt would carry out those steps through government systems. It would also coordinate with relevant entities and follow the request until completion.\n\nThe approach aims to reduce the need for customers to understand which authority handles each part of a transaction. It also seeks to prevent entities from repeatedly requesting information already provided.\n\n## What Customers Should Receive\n\nThe guide calls for customers to receive updates about the steps being taken. They should also be told what has been completed and where further input is needed.\n\nPrivacy and security should be protected throughout the process. The framework also covers unified payment processes and a clear final outcome.\n\nCustomers should have a way to object to a decision or request corrections. In exceptional cases, an AI assistant should transfer the customer to a suitable employee.\n\nThe transition should include the request details and completed steps. This would mean the customer does not have to explain the same case again.\n\n## Measuring The Result\n\nMohammed Rashid bin Taliah, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Government Knowledge Exchange, leads the Government Services Track of the Assistant AI project.\n\nHe said success should be measured by whether a service reaches the customer’s desired result.
