It is the first time the event will use Al Mamzar as its single race venue.\n\nThe weekend is supported by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and Dubai Sports Council. Gulf News and Khaleej Times reported the registration figures and venue shift as the T100 Race to Qatar enters its closing stages. More than a third of those already signed up have competed in earlier editions. Last year's Dubai T100 drew more than 3,000 triathletes and over 15,000 spectators.\n\n## New distances and a women-only pro race\n\nFor the first time, the amateur programme includes an Olympic-distance triathlon: a 1.5-kilometre swim, a 40-kilometre bike ride and a 10-kilometre run. Relay options are available for the Olympic and Sprint distances.\n\nThe Sprint covers a 750-metre swim, a 20-kilometre bike and a 5-kilometre run. The signature 100-kilometre race keeps a 2-kilometre swim, an 80-kilometre bike and an 18-kilometre run.\n\nSam Renouf, chief executive of the Professional Triathletes Organisation, said the registration numbers show growing momentum and that Al Mamzar lets the whole weekend sit in one place. He said the Olympic distance and relays should open the field to more participants.\n\nThe professional race in Dubai will be contested only by women this year under the revised T100 format. Twenty leading female professionals are expected to race, with the final line-up due in the coming weeks. Men's and women's professional fields meet again at the Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final from 10 to 12 December.\n\n## How the Al Mamzar course is shaped\n\nWhat's On Dubai said the swim starts at Al Mamzar beaches, the bike leg runs through Al Hamriya Port and the Dubai Islands, and the run uses shaded paths in Al Mamzar Park and the corniche before the finish. Organisers are also encouraging more Emirati women and girls to enter the Sprint, Olympic, relay and 100-kilometre races.\n\nThe Dubai T100 forms part of the tenth Dubai Fitness Challenge, which runs from 31 October to 29 November under the 30x30 initiative. Saeed Hareb, secretary-general of Dubai Sports Council, said the weekend has become a fixture on Dubai's sporting calendar and that the move to Al Mamzar will show another part of the emirate to international audiences. He linked the event to Dubai Fitness Challenge's aim of mixing elite competition with mass participation.\n\nSpectator entry to Al Mamzar is free throughout the race weekend.\n\n## How to enter\n\nKhaleej Times published the amateur fee schedule and age rules for Sprint, Olympic and 100-kilometre races, including individual and relay options. A booking fee applies on top of the listed entry price. Registration is through the official T100 Dubai participate page.","category":"news","category_url":"https://devodubai.com/category/news","author":"Editorial Team","author_url":"https://devodubai.com/editor/editorial-team","published_at":"2026-09-25T14:19:24","updated_at":null,"reading_time_minutes":3,"cover_image":"https://cms.devo.co/assets/13284705-9689-47c5-9e77-0aaf4e7c6a6d","source_count":3,"sources":[{"title":"Dubai T100 Triathlon attracts over 2,000 athletes from 57 nationalities","source":"Gulf News","link":"https://gulfnews.com/sport/dubai-t100-triathlon-attracts-over-2000-athletes-from-57-nationalities-1.500686315","domain":"gulfnews.com"},{"title":"Dubai T100 Triathlon to kick off on November 13 at Al Mamzar; check prices","source":"Khaleej Times","link":"https://www.khaleejtimes.com/uae/dubai-t100-triathlon-november-13-to-15-2026-al-mamzar","domain":"khaleejtimes.com"},{"title":"Dubai T100 Triathlon returns this November","source":"What's On Dubai","link":"https://whatson.ae/2026/09/dubai-t100-triathlon-is-returning-this-november-2026","domain":"whatson.ae"}],"citation":{"text":"Devo Dubai. \"Over 2,000 athletes enter Dubai T100 Triathlon as event moves to Al Mamzar\".
